Understanding Terms Before You Bet

Knowing what a term actually means changes how you read a bet slip or a slot paytable. When you understand house edge, you pick games that suit your style. When you know what rollover means, you manage a promo without surprises. And when KYC makes sense, your first withdrawal via PayPal or Venmo moves without a hitch. This glossary covers the vocabulary

across our whole platform — sports odds, game math, account steps, and payment rails — so nothing in the lobby catches you off guard. Where local law permits, access these features through your account on any device.

Core Casino and Sportsbook Terms Defined

These are the words that come up on nearly every session — whether you're spinning Mardi Gras Spins or reading an NFL spread. Read them once and you'll spot them instantly in the lobby.

RTP is the percentage of all wagered money a slot or game returns to players over time. A 96% RTP means the game pays back $96 for every $100 wagered, on average, over many rounds.

House edge is the mathematical advantage the platform holds on any game. Blackjack typically carries a lower house edge than most slots, making it a common choice for value-conscious players.

Volatility describes how often and how much a slot pays out. High-volatility slots like Thunder Rapid Play pay less frequently but in larger amounts; low-volatility titles pay smaller amounts more often.

A wager requirement is the number of times you must play through a bonus amount before withdrawing it. A $20 bonus with a 10x requirement means $200 in bets must be completed first.

A jackpot is the largest prize pool a slot can award. Progressive jackpots grow with each bet placed across all players; fixed jackpots pay a set maximum amount shown on the paytable.

A live dealer game streams a real human dealer — typically for blackjack, roulette, or baccarat — directly to your screen. You place bets through the interface while the dealer handles physical cards or a wheel.

Odds, Payments, and Account Vocabulary

These terms show up on bet slips, in your account dashboard, and during the withdrawal process. NFL same-game parlays, PayPal cashouts, and identity checks all have their own language — here's what each word means.

A moneyline bet is a straight-up pick on which team wins, with no point spread involved. A -150 moneyline means you risk $150 to win $100; a +130 means a $100 bet returns $130 profit.

An over/under bet is a wager on whether the combined score of a game will be above or below a set number. You pick the side; the final score determines the result, regardless of who wins.

A same-game parlay combines multiple bets from the same game — for example, an NFL player prop and a point spread — into one bet. All legs must win for the parlay to pay out.

Rollover is the total amount you need to wager before a promo credit can be withdrawn. It works exactly like a casino turnover requirement but is applied to sports bet activity instead.

KYC is the identity verification step required before a withdrawal is processed. You submit a government-issued ID and proof of address; once verified, your PayPal or Play+ cashout can proceed.

An e-wallet is a digital payment account you use to fund bets or receive winnings without sharing your bank details directly. PayPal and Venmo are the e-wallets we support for eligible accounts.

How These Terms Apply to Your Account

Knowing a definition is step one. Here's how each concept actually shows up when you're moving money, placing a bet on an NBA game, or spinning Midnight Roulette on mobile.

RTP is shown only where the game provider — such as Pragmatic Play — makes that data available. Open the game's info panel or paytable; if RTP is published, it appears there.

Go to your account settings, select Verify Identity, and upload a valid photo ID plus one proof-of-address document. Once the team confirms both, your PayPal withdrawal request can be submitted.

Rollover only applies to bonus credit, not to your deposited funds. Your deposited balance — funded via Venmo or Play+ — is always available to withdraw once KYC is complete.

The point spread is a margin added to or subtracted from the final score to even out the bet. Picking the favorite means they must win by more than the spread for your bet to succeed.

Live dealer games like baccarat or Midnight Roulette don't use the same volatility labels as slots. House edge and side-bet odds are the relevant figures, and those appear on the game table interface.

Same-game parlays are available on select NFL and college football matchups where that market is offered. Check the bet-slip builder on each game card to see which legs can be combined. Availability depends on state law and eligible states.
